We were blessed big with a bit of a rain shower today!! I am so thankful for the cool down it brought with it! It forced me inside to do some much needed labeling of my fall scents and my new dish soap!

Sooooo excited!! Our California boy figured things out yesterday!! TAMRIS FARM ROCK MANDO covered CAGLE FARMS GOTTA GYPSY HEART.

I’m over the moon for this pair, sweet Gypsy gave us a beautiful doe kid as a first freshener. Unfortunately we had predators sneak in and take her from us. We were devastated to loose such a sweet healthy baby that way. The excitement builds knowing that Gypsy can throw long beautiful babies and we can’t wait to see the style and udder Mando has to put on his offspring! His mild manor and sweet disposition these babies are going to be made to love on and make milk!

Some girls train easily some are a bit of a challenge. We are in the I’m more stubborn than a goat phase of training. Lots of patience and praising for little victories. We have been at it for just over a week and it has been bumpy but smoothing out each day. She got her first bucket dump in on me and it was about half a gallon of milk from her. Hopefully it will be her last but either way we will do it all again tomorrow and hope for better results! 🤪

We are trying something new! I need a comment and a like if you want to be one of the 5 people who gets to try my new solid dish soap bar! Stipulations are you must be able to PICK UP and we need feedback in the form of a review for the page! I can meet in Blum, Cleburne, Whitney, Hillsboro or Waco. If this goes well we will be offering it as a new staple to the table.

After careful consideration and reviewing our genetic pool, we have come to the conclusion that this guy has worked himself out of a job! We have greedily held on to all of the daughters and sisters from this guy. That being said he is in need of a new herd to service. He is registered and has DNA already on file so he is ready to go to work. I’ve added photos of his offspring and his paternal sister’s udder.
