Fresh bacon seeds available for pre-order!! 🥓 🐷

We currently have 7 Gloucestershire Old Spot piglets that will be weaned and ready to go after June 17th! 5 males and 2 females available. First come, first serve. These guys make great feeders and are super friendly. Please send a message if interested. Priority will be given to those who pre-order!

🌟 FARM FRESH 🌟

There's a reason that those words have such an important meaning to many.. If you've ever had something fresh from the farm you know exactly what I'm talking about! Which brings me to my question... What is one thing you look forward to buying from a local farm instead of the grocery store? If you haven't ever bought directly from a farm, what is something you'd like to try? Let us know because LaPuma Family Farm will soon be offering many different options and we'd love some feedback on what everyone is looking forward to!!

Let's start the week with some fun facts about cows:

Cows can only see in black and white 🖤 🤍

They also have panoramic vision which means that they can see on both sides and behind themselves without ever turning their head around! 🕶️

Multiple studies have shown that when milking cows, if you play soft, slow music it can help reduce stress which in turn helps boost milk production! The same studies have also shown that cows dislike loud rock music 😅

On average a cow's gestational period is 283 days long; while humans come in at right around 280 days. So humans and cows carry their babies for the same amount of time! 🗓️🍼

Our modern day domestic cow descended from Wild cows called Aurochs. The last one went extinct in Poland over 500 years ago!
