On this day in 1949, Bongards was already making waves as one of the world’s largest cheese manufacturers! 🧀

Decades of steady growth followed, and by 1982, Bongards was recognized as the “Largest Cheese Plant in the World Under One Roof,” processing an impressive 2 million pounds of milk each day.

Today, we’re proud to keep that legacy of growth moving forward. With the expansion of our process cheese manufacturing facility, Bongards is raising the bar once again towards building greater capabilities and positioning our cooperative for an even stronger future.
