BITTERSWEET GOODBYE 🤍

There are some chapters in life that are incredibly hard to close, even when you know it’s time to turn the page.
As I begin stepping away from Pepper Town Market and into whatever comes next, I’m feeling a little bit of everything. It’s bittersweet to walk away from something I’ve poured so much of my heart into, especially when I don’t fully know what the next chapter will look like yet.
But what I do know, and what I truly believe, is that whatever comes next will be just as beautiful in its own way as this chapter has been.

My biggest hope is that Pepper Town Market has left a healthy, positive, and lasting impact on our community. From the very beginning, one of our greatest goals was to give back—to organizations, individuals, families, and our community in any way we could. Being able to do that has been one of the greatest privileges of this journey.

And then there are the people. ❤️

I’ve built friendships through this little market that I genuinely believe will last a lifetime. I’ve gotten to know so many wonderful customers, vendors, families, and friends. And to my intentional weekly customers who have become such a special part of my routine—I’m going to have to find a way for us to keep meeting up and keeping in touch, because I’m not quite ready to lose those relationships just because the doors are closing.

With that being said, Pepper Town Market will begin its closeout sales this weekend and will continue through the end of September.
We’ll be offering discounts throughout the store as we make our way toward closing, so if there’s something you’ve had your eye on, now is the time to come see us.

Thank you—for shopping, supporting, encouraging, laughing, talking, sharing, and simply showing up.

Pepper Town Market has been so much more than a little store to me. It has been a chapter of my life, a place to serve my community, and a place where I’ve met some truly incredible people.

And while I’m sad to close this chapter, I’m also excited to see what God has waiting on the other side of it.

Here’s to the end of one beautiful chapter—and the beginning of another. 🤍

First, I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your continued support of Pepper Town Market. This summer heat and humidity have been no joke, and we are incredibly grateful for the customers who continue to shop local and support our little place.

As we make our way through August, we're going to adjust our hours slightly to better accommodate both our customers and those of us working through these long, hot days.

Our temporary August hours will be:
Thursday & Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

We also have some family changes taking place this month, and there may be an occasional day when the doors have to remain closed altogether. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate both the heat of summer and the changes happening at home.

Thank you for supporting us, encouraging us, and being part of the Pepper Town Market family. I love y'all, I appreciate y'all, and I'm looking forward to settling into our "new normal" and continuing to serve this community, friends, and family.
