The High Country Food Hub makes it possible for farmers to work together to meet the growing demand for local, sustainable food in the High Country area. Farmers benefit from the marketing, selling, packaging and delivering of their produce and prepared foods. Our online market brings fresh, nutritious, locally grown and produced food and artisan goods to you, the buyer, in a cost-effective manner on a weekly basis.

A phrase we often use here at the Food Hub- and it stands true every week. Watching the moving parts of pick-up day helps you understand just what needs to happen to offer fresh, local food to our community.

While Tuesdays here consist of moving and grooving, sorting and weighing, double checking and the inevitable re-count - there are endless moments of gratitude and appreciation for the people we call our community.
Volunteers catching up with each other about their weekend activities. Producers giving us updates about their upcoming harvest. Staff members jumping in when an extra hand is needed. Days like this is what fuel us to serve our people, our land, and ourselves. 🌱🧄🌄🥚🌷

Producer Profile ⭐️ Meet Jason & Amy Icenhour Douglas at The Farmers’ Daughter Farm!

Located in Taylorsville, NC, The Farmers’ Daughter was founded in 2008 with a half acre garden. They are currently part of the original 108 acre family farm, which has been in the family for six generations. Now, Jason and Amy along with their children, Lily and Max, farm on about 10 acres of the family farm. The Farmers’ Daughter believes in transparency, sustainability, and faith driven farming practices. 🍓🥬🍅

NEW WILKESBORO SATELLITE LOCATION! 📡🍅🌼
With our busy season kicking into full gear here at the Food Hub, we are so excited to announce that we have a NEW satellite location in North Wilkesboro.
Our friends at Wilkes Fresh have graciously offered a space for us to set up and distribute orders to customers. The address is 1903 West Park Drive, North Wilkesboro, NC. Our first pickup day with be Thursday, April 30th for THIS CURRENT ordering period.
