The Copley Square Farmers Market is Boston's biggest and busiest farmers market. Located in the heart of the commercial and cultural hub of Back Bay, the long-running Copley Square Farmers Market features over three dozen Massachusetts farmers and food producers offering a vibrant selection of delicious produce, proteins, baked goods, ready-to-eat meals, alongside a host of other locally made prod

ucts. The market accepts cash, credit/debit cards, WIC/Senior coupons, and EBT cards. SNAP users can earn additional benefits through the healthy incentives program (HIP) at the market! Spend $40-$80 per month (depending on household size) on fruits and vegetables at participating vendors and the money will be put back on your EBT card. All SNAP users are automatically enrolled in this program. Visit the market manager’s booth to learn more. The Copley Square Farmers Market is a Mass Farmers Market managed market. MFM is a non-profit organization that has been working to enhance farmers markets and support locally grown food for over forty years.

Romano bean recipe…you’ll never cook them any other way after you try this one.

Romano beans are a classic Italian green bean. Delicious and meaty, they are one of my top favorite veggies!

A little old Italian man whispered this recipe to me years ago at the Copley Sq Farmers Market . IYKYK. 😋

Crush and chop a good amount of garlic (I usually use about one bulb). Heat your EVOO and sauté the garlic until just fragrant (about 1 minute). Add your chopped tomatoes (I used two heirlooms I had sitting on the counter) and a bit of salt. Sauté the garlic and tomatoes on low heat until the tomatoes begin to break down and create a sauce. Throw in your whole Romano beans. Cover and cook over low heat until the beans are fork tender and cooked through. Enjoy.
