🥕 Fresh produce • Baked goods • Local makers The Farmers' Market in Bowling Green, brought to you by Work Leads to Independence, a local 401(c)3 non-profit, brings you the freshest vegetables, flowers, and plants in season - right in the historic heart of the city. We feature delicious baked goods and home-made foods, along with unique works fr

om talented regional crafters. Join us every week in the season (Wednesdays) for a celebration of our agricultural heritage and the best produce, home-made foods, and hand-crafted items the region has to offer. There are several food trucks with a variety of foods to choose from. We also have live music each week with a new seating area to enjoy your food and the music. Our independently owned shops carry everything from hardware to high quality meats. Whether you're looking for books, fine coffees, silk scarves, or stylish hats, you can find it here. And many of the stores are open late for your shopping convenience.

A special message from our new Farmers Market Manager Kinsey.

At the heart of every farmers market there are hard working vendors that are farmers, artisans, small businesses, and growers. They all show up every day of the year to support themselves and their families and it does not go unnoticed as we know the long hours and dedication they have to put in. We value every vendor and support their opportunities to grow and succeed!

I believe as the Downtown Bowling Green Farmers Market Manager that there is room for multiple markets and that it is helping to grow our community. The Tuesdays Markets at the Mall is another way to support agricultural, small businesses, and our community. I encourage everyone to support our local markets as you are supporting the vendors families and strengthening small businesses. So keep showing up by shopping and supporting local!

It’s amazing to think, these little plants started here, filled the purple pots, and now are off to their new homes! Growing with love 💜

I will have lavender plants available at the Wednesday 4-7pm, during Planting Day May 23 at 10am, and Sunday May 24 from 10am-4pm.

Hope you’ll visit, learn how to grow your own lavender, and find the perfect plant!

We love dogs and we want to celebrate your pup! Bring your crowd-friendly pup to the market and they have a chance to be featured as one of our HARVEST PUPS! 🐾

This week our very first Harvest Pup is a special one. This girls name is Harley and you’re in luck she is ready to be adopted by her perfect family!

Harley is 8 years old and is as playful as ever, a sweetie and laid back. She loves company and fetch. She’s well behaved, well manned and an all-around amazing dog that just about anyone would be lucky to call their own. She doesn’t need much space for running, just a couple tennis balls and a good person to love and to love her. Interested in adopting her please reach out to the Wood County Humane Society!

Just a reminder to keep them leashed, comfortable around crowds, and always clean up after them so everyone can enjoy the market experience together! 🐕‍🦺

We fought through the wind but what a great opening day for the farmers market! We had some amazing vendors tonight and have many more to come. Thank you to everyone who came out with your friends, family, neighbors and pups! We love the community supporting our vendors and we can’t wait to see you all next week.
