Now Taking Thanksgiving Preorders!

It’s that time of year again! Our Amish turkeys are raised naturally, never frozen, and full of flavor for your family’s Thanksgiving table.

PRICING & SIZES:

• Whole turkeys: $5.99 per lb
• Small: 12 to 14 lbs
• Medium: 15 to 18 lbs
• Large: 18 lbs and up. Limited availability, so order early!
• Turkey breasts only: $7.99 per lb
• Extra pieces: $4.99 per lb, including giblets, legs, thighs, and wings

HOW TO ORDER:

Please have the following ready:

• Your name
• Desired turkey size range
• Pickup date
• Whether you need early bird pickup
• A phone number where we can reach you

Please do not place orders through social media messages or comments. Multiple people manage our account, and orders can get missed. Calling the shop is the only way to confirm your order.

PICKUP DATES & HOURS:

• November 23rd: 10:00am to 5:30pm
• November 24th: 10:00am to 5:30pm
• November 25th: 10:00am to 2:00pm

We will be closed November 26th and 27th.

Please stick to your scheduled pickup date. We’ll be coordinating more than 300 turkeys, and this helps us keep everything running smoothly!

EARLY BIRD PICKUP:

Available from 8:00am to 9:30am on pickup days for turkey orders only. Please request this when placing your order.

Nothing can be added to your order during early bird pickup.

PREORDER DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 17TH:

After November 17th, extras will be available first come, first served. Preordering guarantees your turkey!

This weekend, we will have a few prepared meal options: Chicken Stir Fry (g/f, d/f) featuring Bentley Farms chicken, Dewitt Farm peppers and special g/f soy sauce available at The Local Good General Store; Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes & Chard (g/f) featuring Mammoth Valley ground beef, organic potatoes and Planted. The Market Farm chard; Ready-for-oven Beef Lasagna (regular or gluten free available).

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS | Since TLG’s inception as a wee mini market, we’ve been working toward being able to accept SNAP. Over three years later, we are so happy to announce that we are *finally* authorized to accept SNAP! 🎉

All grocery items on our shelves are SNAP-eligible, along with West & Taylor’s refrigerated & frozen meals and cold-packed items. PLUS, SNAP customers will receive 10% off their entire order each time they use their card!

Alongside SNAP, we are now a Kentucky Double Dollars (KDD) participating retailer! SNAP customers will receive up to $20 per day for KY-grown fruit, veggies, meat, eggs, and dairy. KDD-eligible items are marked throughout the store either directly on their price tag or with a nearby “Eligible for KDD” tag.

Whether you’ve shopped with us since our Ridley Roasthouse days or you just found us recently, y’all’s support helped us achieve this very important goal. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU, and we look forward to further increasing access to local food for all of our neighbors! 💖
