Thanks to Amanda’s hard work in the tomato patch, we have a great selection of our own, ‘no spray’ heirloom tomatoes to choose from, and don’t pass up on the Aunt Ruby’s German Green in the heirloom tray. They are actually ripe, ready to slice and very delicious, by the taste of it, you’d swear you were eating a red tomato.
We also have regular green tomatoes for frying or relish.

Just in time for Labor Day we are having a 1/2 off sale on most of our perennials! If there is a red dot on the price sticker, it is 50% off!

We’ll be open 9-5 Labor Day Monday,
and 9-6 the rest of the week!

Did you know we have our own little Monarch butterfly nursery going on here? Thanks to our friend Lynn, the butterfly Queen, she has kept us with a good supply of chrysalises and now we have our own on some of our swamp milkweed plants. One of the crew had an added bonus to her day after one came out of its chrysalis and chose her to hang around with.
If you’d like to see them, just ask and we’ll gladly show them off. A great thing to show your kids!

Maggie’s going to miss the kids as much as I will! They all loved to see her and she loved them all when she wasn’t sniffing for chipmunks!
Good luck in college Rachel, Sydney, Hannah, Amanda, Nicole, Izzy, Nick and Charlie, we’ll miss you this fall!
