We will be open 9-3 Saturday and Monday, 10-3 Sunday.
The stand is stocked with Cantaloupes, Yellow Meat Watermelons, and summer veggies! Plenty of canned goods.
Come see us for your Labor Day Weekend produce needs!

OUR FARM STAND IS OPEN 9am-3pm
We picked the last of our yellow meat watermelons yesterday so that’ll be it for the summer, no red. We have about 75. We’ll also have cantaloupes.
Watermelons are $6/each, cantaloupe $3-$4.

You know what I’ve been craving……a big pot of greens!!! Today we have some turnip greens with small white turnips. They are milder than the traditional purple top turnip greens. Come grab a bunch or 2 for yourself.
WE ALSO STILL HAVE CANTALOUPES AND YELLOW MEAT WATERMELONS.
WE’RE OPEN UNTIL 3pm!!

FRIDAY AUGUST 28th:
Our farm stand will open from 9am-3pm
Summer is coming to an end soon. We picked about 125 yellow meat watermelons yesterday. The field is almost finished. We also have cantaloupes. Come grab some for yourself before they’re all gone.

Farm-to-Market roads are how our food and fiber get from Texas farms to our homes and stores.

It’s a road system that was developed to help “get Texas farmers out of the mud.”

That was the campaign slogan in the fifties, to gain support for farm-to-market roads that connect Texas farms directly to highways and other cities.

Decades ago, those roads were built to do what their name implies—bring goods from the farm to market. And they still do that today.

If you travel them, you’ll likely meet a farmer or rancher driving large farm equipment or hauling trailers. When that happens, please be patient. Slow down and give them some space. They’re driving those roads to help bring food from the fields to our tables.
