Skiing again!

So good to be grooming again! 2 passes with the roller and 2 passes with the ginzu. Pat Hat trail and Babyheart back through the orchard to the homestead are groomed. come by for a ski, see the lambs and the pigs! The snow may not stick around for more than a couple of days.

While the skiing is on pause until more snow arrives, the market stand is open today, and Bella and Magda would appreciate a scratch or belly rub...Fresh greens from the high tunnels and greenhouses, eggs from the girls, and more, 9am-1pm.

yesterday's wind brought in a lovely 3+ inches of snow last night.

3” dense snow last night, groomed all trails; should stick around for the next day or two! west and north trails once again are the best bet for decent skiing. no classic tracks.

Farm Stand is open today! 12-6pm, come for skiing and farmstead produce, wreaths, and farm raised meats!

Once again, the trails to the west and north of the farm are in the best shape, and I was able to set classic tracks on Pat Hat and Babyheart trails. Jacy’s way is good too! RCF and GVB trails have decent coverage and are skiable, but still have lots of undulations from fall plowing and old strawb

The Morning Update:

Trails have improved quite a lot today with the new snow and just enough depth to put the teeth down on the ginzu. Pat Hat, Jacy’s Way, and Babyheart trails are very good. Orchard is ok, but the farm fields on the RCF and GVB trails still need more snow to make it fun, not just skiable. Continued

Farm stand is open Sundays till 1pm, and the skiing is good!

no new snow, 10 degrees @ 10am. I refreshed/packed the skate lane last night. not quite deep enough coverage to put the teeth down on the ginzu without risk. skied all 12 km yesterday: Jacy’s way, Pat Hat, and Babyheart are in best shape. Orchard / GVB / RCF. trails are lumpy from plow marks an

9+ inches yesterday; that came fast! skiing should be decent, good coverage, soft.

Jacy’s Way, Pat Hat, and Babyheart trails will be best today, to the west and north of the homestead. GVB fields are still a tad lumpy, but everything is groomed. Passes available online or in the barn. Not deep enough for classic tracks yet. ~3" packed snow. Trails will be soft, some grass
