Before I get to today's Hot Lunchtime Specials, let me introduce you to a Portman's "signature" sandwich, created specifically by our Portman's Crew years and years ago, which sometimes gets overlooked!

The "Smoked Apple"!

Imagine Boar's Head Smoked Ham with Gouda cheese and a generous slathering of Apple Butter. For those of you who have never tried Apple Butter, or this sandwich, you really MUST do so soon, and what better time than Autumn and Apple season!?

(We also, occasionally, offer a grilled version of this as well!)

Good morning everyone and welcome to Monday.....a full moon Monday at that!

Before we get to this week's specials just a few reminders for one and all!

1 - We will NOT be accepting Thanksgiving orders until AFTER HALLOWEEN (we like to take one Holiday at a time!)

2 - When we DO begin accepting orders, we NEVER accept ones left on our page.....nor via Facebook Messenger......nor via text.......nor email! We are kind of old fashioned here! We like to either hear your voice over the phone or see your smiling face in person.....so.....when we start taking orders please either call us at 412.221.5635 or stop in person and we will be more than happy to get everything written down for you!

It's a HAM SALAD WEEKEND inside our Big Green Barn!

Pop over to our bakery and snag some freshly baked pastries to get your morning started!

Also, as you may have heard, the Steelers are playing in Paris tomorrow. And THAT means you'll be up and tailgating early for that 9:30am kickoff!

If you usually stop at our store on Sunday mornings, please feel free to call today and place your orders (whether they're for sliced lunch meat and cheeses, ham salad, or bakery items) and we will be able to have everything ready and waiting for you so that you can get back home and in front of your TV screens! 3ay before the game begins!

Our store number is 412.221.5635 and be sure and tell us that your order is for Sunday morning! We will answer your call today until 3 so get up and give us a call!

We have another gorgeous Autumn day ahead of us so get outside and enjoy it and while you're out and about pop into our Big Green Barn where, from 11am - 1pm today we will be serving up our Black Jack Turkey paninis, (Boar's Head Blackened Turkey breast with Colby Jack cheese grilled with bacon, tomatoes and a chipolte mayonnaise), and Stuffed Pepper soup!
