We are picking some great tomatoes here at the Farm. We started harvesting July 2nd regular tomatoes along with Red and Yellow grapes and cherry tomatoes. Best start for our tomato crop. Our stand is open daily 10:30 -5 :00.
Also at our stand with have Native corn , squash, cucumbers, kale , cabbage, beans , basil, blueberries,strawberries and much more We will be picking new items daily thru October.
Our Fall mums are all planted in the fields and look great.
We have suffered great damage to lots of our crops this season from animals at both our Bridgewater and Middleboro fields. Worst year ever. It has been a challenge this season.
We also have a great selection of native honey in 1lb. , 2lb. and 5lb. Jars.

Peterson Farm & Greenhouse is celebrating our 60th year in Bridgewater this season. We will be opening up this weekend 10:30-5:00 and our Spring hours will be 12-5:00 Wed. thru Fri. And weekends 10:30 -5. We will be offering hanging baskets , patio pots , vegetable and flower pacs , bag plants , perennials, local honey, eggs, jellies and jams. We will be bringing in new plants daily as the plants mature in our greenhouse.
Our high tunnel greenhouse in our Middleboro farm is all planted and doing great. It was planted 4 weeks ago and the plants are taking off. It is filled with over 400 tomato plants of several different verieties, 100+ peppers plants and we will be planting cucumbers and okra this week inside the tunnel. Next up we will be planting outside crops starting soon.
Everything is on schedule so far on the farm We have our great crew back from last year and we are looking forward to a great season.

Our Fall crops are at our Stand now. New items arriving daily along with our summer vegetables. Still picking tomatoes,squash, peppers , beans ,corn and much more.We also have Native Apples, cider, Local Honey in 1lb. 2lb. and 5lb. Jars which is available year round and local eggs. Stop by our Stand open daily 11-5:30 at 535 South Street Bridgewater and we have a small stand open daily at 97 Plymouth Street Middleboro with limited items.

This week we have started our summer hours. We are open Monday through Friday 10:30 -5:30 and Saturday and Sunday 10:30 -5 till Thanksgiving.
This is our 2nd day with native corn. It has been great. We also have been picking our own Tomatoes, Beans,Yellow and Green Squash, Kale,Beets, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Cherry and Grape Tomatoes,Cucumbers,Cabbage,Eggs , Basil and Local Honey.
Our plants are all on sale. 4 1/2” pots are 3.49,Pacs 1.99 ,10” Hangers and Flower Bags 12.95

First Post for the season. We have had a busy but restful Winter. We started early January ordering our supplies, repairing equipment and started seeding inside. Our Cuttings and plugs started arriving in March and we filled up our greenhouses fast. It’s been a cold cloudy Spring so far and we hope the weather makes a quick change soon. Our high tunnel has been planted since the middle of April and the plants are taking off. It’s filled with 300 different varieties of tomatoes, Peppers, Squash and Okra. Growing in the high tunnel is really going to benefit us this year with this cold spring. We will be starting to plant outside within the next week.
We have been getting the stand ready for opening day this Saturday May 11th. Our hours are Saturday and Sunday 10:30 -5 and Wednesday thru Friday 12:30 -5. We will be open daily after July 4th. We will have Hanging  baskets , patio pots , Proven winner pot’s, flower bags ,Vegetable and Flower pacs ,native eggs and local honey. We will be bringing in some fruits and vegetables in a few weeks. We should be picking our crops first of June.

Today was the first day we had our new Truck on the Farm working. Our new Truck is 1970 Ford F250. It came from a 1200 acre farm in
 Illinois. Great shape and only 36,000 miles. We got it registered and inspected today and it passed and ready to work.

We are still picking lots of Tomatoes, Cherry and grape Tomatoes and our Cut Flowers are unbelievable this year. Our best crop ever. We have started picking our mini pumpkins and gourds the last few weeks. We have lots of Fall items , Sugar and large Pumpkins , Apples , winter Squash and our own 8” Hardy Mums. Mid Season and Season Extenders are only $5.49 each. Great deal. We even had our own native watermelon’s on the stand the last few weeks. They were a hit. 
We are open Monday through Friday 1030 to 530 and Saturday and Sunday 1030 to 5. Support your local growers. Thanks.

Peterson Farm + Greenhouse purchased a new Truck for the Farm. A 1970Ford F250. Only 36000 miles. It came from a Illinois farm who farmed 1, 200 acres and kept this truck in a Barn for 50 plus years. Great shape. We bought this truck because that was the first Truck I drove back in High School. Great fine.
