“Why are you seasonal, why don’t you stay open through the fall?” 🤔🍂
We hear this question a lot as summer comes to a close! While we wish the sunshine and season could last forever, packing up on, or this year before, Labor Day is a very intentional choice for our business.
Here is a look behind the scenes at why we pack it in for the year:
📉 The Market Shifts
Once end of August hits, the local foot traffic dramatically slows down. There simply isn’t enough market demand or local activity to sustainably keep our doors open through the colder months.
👩🏫 Our Team Heads Back to School
We are incredibly proud of our crew, but our workforce relies heavily on local students and teachers. As the school year starts up again, their focus rightfully shifts back to the classrooms, leaving us without the staff needed to maintain our operations.
⚖️ Work-Life Balance Matters
We love what we do, but we also love our families and our downtime. Closing out the season allows our family and our team to rest, recharge, and find a healthy balance so we can come back even stronger next year!
