Flat Iron Steak: The Best Steak Most People Overlook
If you’ve never tried a Flat Iron Steak, you’re missing one of the best values in the beef case.
Cut from the shoulder, it’s incredibly tender, richly marbled, and often costs significantly less than ribeye or filet.
Best cooking methods: • Grill • Cast iron skillet • Reverse sear
Best served: Medium Rare (130–135°F)
One more tip: Always slice it against the grain to maximize tenderness.
