🐝 We’re proud to announce that Blackstone Honey Bee Farms has officially passed inspection by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for the health of our honey bees, hives and beekeeping equipment.

Why is this important? Healthy, well-managed bee colonies help protect local pollinators, support agriculture and reflect responsible beekeeping practices.

Haymarket Farmers Market begins April 6th, Sundays -1pm
Mount Vernon Farmers Market begins April 16th, Wednesdays -12pm
Burke Farmers Market begins April 19th, Saturdays -12pm
Herndon Farmers Market begins May 1st, Thursdays -12pm
Mclean Farmers Market begins May 2nd, Fridays -12pm

Now taking orders for our 2025 three pound Italian Honeybee packages with mated Queen. Delivery is expected the last week in April. You may pick them up or have them delivered.

Here’s why you should choose us:
1. Beekeeping is our livelihood.
2. We travel to Georgia and work alongside our breeder to ensure each package is weighed correctly so that our customers are getting what they pay for.
3. We are available after purchase to assist you. Your success is our success!
4. Many people are returning customers
5. We make our own nucs and you choose your own nuc at our apiary to ensure you are happy with your product
6. Each nuc has 5 deep frames, filled with Italian bees, brood, and a Queen.

Three pound package $145
Nuc $225 + $25 deposit on box
