It’s honestly pretty humbling.

Every now and then we’ll look through our story views, post likes, and interactions and see other stores, markets, farmers, ranchers, and small business from all over the country…North Carolina, South Carolina, Arkansas, Florida, Texas, and so many other places. Paying attention to what’s happening right here in Broken Arrow/ Tulsa, Oklahoma.

To everyone who supports us, shops with us, shares our posts, and believes in what we’re doing…THANK YOU.

RAW MILK UPDATE FOR OKLAHOMA Y’ALL

We’ve had TONS and tons ( I mean TONSSSSS) of customers coming into the market lately asking if we can finally carry raw milk in the stores after the new Oklahoma raw milk bill was signed into law.

So we wanted to help clear up some of the confusion.

YES….Oklahoma recently passed a new law expanding certain raw milk sales and advertising rights for farmers. The new law allows producers more freedom with direct-to-consumer raw milk sales and increases the amount farmers can legally sell each month.

BUT… grocery store retail sales are still NOT approved at this time.

As of right now in Oklahoma, raw milk sales are still primarily limited to direct farm sales and cannot legally be sold through grocery stores, restaurants, or similar retail storefronts.

Trust us… we know many of y’all would love the convenience of grabbing it during your normal grocery trip, and we’re keeping a very close eye on future changes and legislation.

Hopefully one day Oklahoma storefronts like ours will get the green light too. Until then, we’ll continue supporting local farmers however we legally can and keep y’all updated as laws evolve.

We appreciate everyone continuing to ask questions, have conversations, and care more about where their food comes from. That shift alone is pretty incredible to watch.
