But I had to go buy more brown sugar to whip up some more Oatmeal Cream Pies...

I'll bake some up tonight and restock...

I may try my hand at some Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal Cream Pies... stay tuned to find out!!

Hey my people!! I have alot more followers for the farmstand page so I figured I would do a little introduction!

I am Megan... your local sourdough dealer... I have baked my whole life and learned to love it even more when I got married and started growing my family! Baking is not what the farmstand is about... its just a small part of it. I want my family and I to have the cleanest most wholesome ingredients I can... so a few years ago when I started sharing with my extended family they asked why I wasn't sharing with more people...

That is how Whitaker Homestead started... Salsa... Sourdough... Jams... Jellies... Elderberry... all the things I make for myself and my family I want to share with you!

I grow as much as I can... I source organic and local when I can.

Learning what is in your food and how it is raised will open your eyes to the low standards our country has when it comes to factory made...grow...raised meats and produce...

Guys... you won't believe what I did... yesterday my beautiful sourdough cinnamon rolls turned out beautifully... but my easy yeast rolls did not... and I couldn't figure out what happen to my yeast rolls... they just didn't bake up nice... so ofcourse I couldn't put them out... they taste ok... my family has enjoyed them...
.. so im whipping up some this morning... and guess what I think I forgot in them yesterday.... did you guess.... if you guessed salt you may be correct....

Edit: they took for ever to proof.... they will be in farmstand by 330pm

cinnamon rolls... ready to be baked in morning and out in farmstand by 2pm ♡ and if those go well tomorrow ill make more yeast ones Saturday morning ❤️
