Filters from larger commercial dairies are often plugged and gross because udders are not washed prior to milking. When you follow the raw milk institutes standards, you end up with a filter that is just, clean!

Goood afternoon everyone! I have affidavits ready to try and do a milk drop off. I am planning my first one for June 27th in Chanute. Here are the rules:

1. You have to come to our farm and sign the affidavit. This is a one time need. The affidavit is evergreen and does not expire.
2. This will be jar exchange. I will have to charge a one time $3.00 core for each jar. They will be half gallon jars. If you pick up again, just bring your empty jar and you will get a full one back.
3. Who signs the affidavit is who MUST pick up. If you have not been to the farm and signed one, I CAN NOT send you with milk and bring one next time. It must be signed before the drop off on our farm. It can not be signed at the drop off.
4. I need to know if you are wanting to participate 5 days before drop off to ensure that I have the availability.
5. If you participate in another drop off and do not bring an empty jar back, I will charge a core on the new ones you take with you.

Sorry to be so jar crazy! Exchanging is the best way to ensure there is not a contamination risk and maintain quality. Also I need to ensure I can replace any that do not come back.

Please message me and let me know if you are wanting to come sign it and we can get you all set up! I will post weekly reminders until the day of.

I want to thank all the vendors that came out yesterday! It isn’t easy loading up animals and there is a lot of work in setting up the booths! It was a hit and miss day but we were competing with several other events in the area so I want to thank all our shoppers that showed up as well! We had a lot of set backs including power issues so thank you Justin’s Sugar Rush for your patience! We ended up buying an awesome little goat named Sunshine! Thank you Katana! He will be a great addition to our funny farm! We are looking at doing our next one July 18th! If anyone knows of any other big events going on that weekend please let me know and we may look at another date! I have scoured events on Facebook and didn’t see anything so far! Thank you again everyone! We will see you next time!
