These preparations have been staples in Mexican kitchens for centuries. Now we're making them by hand in Brooklyn using fresh ingredients and traditional recipes while always keeping conscious methods in mind and heart. We hate posting about something you can’t buy right now, but some compliments are too good to keep to ourselves.

A customer gifted ‘s Salsa Seca to her dad, and days later he was still calling, raving like he’d just stumbled onto a secret he couldn’t keep. “You can put it on everything,” he said. “Tacos, veggies, eggs, toast…” He just kept going, completely losing his mind over it.

Gosh, it was probably 10 years ago when Chef helped me make batches of Jojo’s Sriracha in Brooklyn. When he showed up, he shared his beautifully dark, smoky, crunchy, peanut XILLI (chili) oil. It was, and continues to be, one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted.

Dear Friends, Family and Community.

We had an unfortunate incident recently which has hurt us deeply in our hearts.

A few days back, an individual, who we've learned has a substance addiction and who recently had become increasingly volatile and aggressive, set fire to our delivery vehicle.

We are extremely shocked and sad. While we are so grateful that no one was hurt, this truck has been part of XILLI since the inception of the project and we are very sad to see it literally go up in smoke. On top of the destruction of the truck, we also lost a large amount of inventory that was set to be delivered to our vendors.

Some of you may know, our goal was to hopefully one day turn this delivery truck into a working food truck, bringing the flavors and quality craftsmanship of XILLI to a more authentic street-level approach.

We are now asking our friends and community, if you have the means to spare, to help us replace our inventory, and mostly get us started on our way to rebuild the vehicle that was once our beloved delivery truck and will hopefully one day become the next phase of XILLI.

From what we have learned, the shell was strong enough to withstand much of the fire damage, and might be able to be restored; but as you can see in the photos, there is a considerable amount of work that needs to be done and many things that will need to be replaced entirely. We are hopeful that all is not lost. Any amount that could be contributed would be incredibly helpful and very much appreciated.

We had an unfortunate incident recently which has hurt us deeply in our hearts.
