Now that we have a nice little following I’d like to reintroduce Acorn & Oven!
What started as a desire to feed our own family with simple, wholesome ingredients grew into a mission to share those values with our community. We believe that food doesn't need artificial preservatives, unnecessary additives, or words you can't recognize. Instead, we focus on quality ingredients sourced as close to home as possible. We proudly use fresh local eggs, milk, butter, and flour from farmers along Highway 44 in Shepherdsville and in Kentucky. By supporting local agriculture and small businesses, we're able to create products that reflect the values we believe in: freshness, transparency, and craftsmanship.
Our baked goods are handcrafted in small batches, which means no two are exactly alike. Unlike factory-made products rolling off an assembly line, our loaves and cookies come with a little personality—because we believe quality and taste is far more interesting than perfection.
I’m excited to share that I’ve officially taken the leap to pursue this business full-time. This decision allows me to focus on growing our mission while also being present with my children at home.
