Located in Brooksville, Florida. We sell hatching eggs nationally and chicks locally. Hens come available periodically so the best way to get first dibs on a hen from SRF is to message me your email address to get on a mailing list. Otherwise eggs are the best way to go! I ship to all 50 states. $125/dozen.

😍 This is just a soft introduction to what’s been brewing at Solid Rock Farms ✨She needs a bath - pics taken on a non-opportune day of muddied weather!

For the last 2 years I’ve been working on creating a blue egg laying Paint Silkie. Here she is! She lays blue eggs! 💙🦋🩵 💕

Note: I’m hatching everything out right now but will list my “Easter Eggers” (they are silkie x Ameraucana crossed with silkie x Ameraucana or with full silkie. They are currently at 63% silkie). My next generation is crossed back to a full silkie for an 87% line. I will post my culls for the public. My premium line, all the “pick of the nest” birds, will not be ready for the public until I’m in my 5th generation and at least 93% silkie. This line will be on a high end since I will be 3 years deep, countless hours, lots of frustration (and also 💡 moments), and I don’t work for free! 😅☺️

My gorgeous, very lightly mottled, satin frizzled hens 😍 and my layers behind them 🍳 eggs.

When you can’t tell where one ends and the other begins, you know you’ve achieved a ridiculous chicken. 😂 Silkies are always my favorite and the cutest! 🥰
