I have a long post and a lot to say, so please bare with me.

It’s no surprise that these last almost two months have been rough for this town, losing our friend, Trevor, owner of C&O Deli and Seafood. It was very hard to stand in front of this building and smile in this photo, as it has given me so many mixed emotions. Knowing it took something so terrible and tragic for something good to happen for my family and I. When I was approached by the Hoak family, asking if I wanted to open the Deli, I was incredibly honored (and shocked). I am so grateful to them for this opportunity and I hope to make you all proud.

With that being said, we are opening Drip Coffeehouse & Kitchen. Our goal is to be open early September, but we will keep you updated. I’ll be proudly serving my Mocha Mama Coffee there. Unfortunately, the rumors of my husbands Burger Daddy business going in there is untrue (sorry to burst any bubbles lol).. however, he is an amazing cook and has many tasty menu items other than burgers for the shop!

I will continue to be doing mobile events for Mocha Mama such as employee appreciations, bridal showers, baby showers, parties, etc. I will
also continue to sell pre-made latte jugs. In the meantime, you will be able to continue to purchase pre-made lattes at The Rolling Pin in the upcoming weeks.

As many of you know, this space is beyond beautiful. Other than a coffee shop and kitchen, I plan to host many different events there and it will be available to rent for parties, work events, showers, anything you would like!

It’s time I get online and let you all know the last 6 weeks have been the hardest days I’ve ever endured. Losing a love one is something you can never prepare for. It hurts and it’s hard and it stays with you forever. And I know I’m not alone, as so many of you have reached and showed your love and respect for my family, the deli and my husband Trevor. I thank you all for your kind words and gifts, your flower and cards, thoughts and prayers. My husband brought something special to this town and he was proud to be apart of this community.

One thing Trevor loved about this community was the relationships he built with other businesses. The owners that came in to support and introduce themselves meant so much to him. He was honored to have your support. With that being said, some special locals that Trevor was able to meet through this business will be taking over this space on the near future. They are an experienced young couple who love working with the community while never losing sight of their family values. Trevor could relate to them so much so it is a true honor to have this family continue something special in this space. We wish them all the best and look forward to what they will bring to the community. When they make their announcement- we will share it here.

As for the retail items the deli sold, you can check out Anna's Place or Katy’s Bulk Foods to find some of those tasty unique items. Thank you to these businesses supporting us through this time. ❤️

Special thanks to King Krunch Gourmet Brands as well. They helped purchase some storage items. When you get a gift basket from them, you will likely be able to have a small piece of the deli as well since they generously helped purchase the gift basket making items.
Galbraith’s quality cleaning services. did the most beautiful job. Im truly blessed to know such hard working people to be able to quickly and professionally clean up this space in such a respectable way. ❤️

We can't thank everyone enough for all of the love and support that our family, friends, community, and patreons have showed to all of us during these unbelievebly tough times. We will be shutting down the Deli completely. Thanks again to everyone for all of the love and kind words. ❤️❤️

Our neighbors down the street have delicious specials today. Shout out to Maria who works so hard to keep this business going. She probably puts more hours in than anyone else on Main Street, Brookville.

And happy mothers to all the special mothers, mother figures and amazing women out there. You are absolutely the backbone that keeps us going. You deserve all the love and recognition today.
