SUPER SWEET WHITE CORN IS BACK!!

After a few days off we are back into white sweet corn. We will have super sweet white and bicolor sweet corn at all markets today. We have both available too in party sacks(65 ears, 5 bakers dozens) for your cookouts, parties, or to freeze for winter.

• $1 -1 ear
• $5.50 - 1/2dozen (6 ears)
• $10.00 - dozen (13 ears)
• $40 - per party sack (65 ears)

For as long as we can remember(20-25 years or more), we have been donating every ear of corn to this great cause! I vividly remember the 1st year they picked the corn up and they were going to pay for it. When we found out what it was for it was a very easy decision to donate it all. Over 100,000 ears of corn later we are still donating every ear of corn to them every year. We are so thankful for our veterans and what they have sacrificed for us. So if you goto the Fayette County Fair, Make sure you stop at the Rolling Thunder booth and get some corn and help support our local veterans!!

OUT OF WHITE CORN FOR A FEW DAYS! STILL PLENTY OF BI-COLOR SWEET CORN!

UPDATES BELOW:

• SWEET CORN - We will only have white sweet corn at the market at the farm today. We will be out of white for a few days while we wait for the next field to ripen. We have plenty of bicolor that we picked in the rain this morning.

• CANNING SEASON. We are picking almost everything for canning including tomatoes. We are out of pickles tho and the next green bean field is almost full enough to start picking enough volume for bulk orders. Check out the picture with what we have available and all the prices for bulk sales. Please call 724-246-7601 to place your order so we can have it ready or send it to the market you want on the day you want.

• APPLES- We got the 1st pickings of ginger gold and Rambo apples in from Chambersburg. More apples to ripen soon. We have them by the lb, basket, and 1/2 bu too!

• POTATOES - We dug red, white, and gold potatoes. We have them available in 5lb bags at all markets for $6 a bag. We have them also available in 1/2bu (25lb) for $25 or 50lb bags for $40. Please order any 25 # or 50 # bags so we have them ready and send them to the location of your choice.

• BEETS- We still have plenty of beets. If you want to can beets, get them while we have them. They are $25 per 1/2bu.

• BROCCOLI- We currently have a beautiful crop of broccoli. We have it at all markets. Get while we have it available.

• LETTUCE- unfortunately we are out of our lettuce at this time. We have been buying iceberg tho and it's been good.

• CELERY- we grew some of our own celery. Check out the picture! We have it at all markets!

IT'S CANNING SEASON. TOMATOES PLUS SO MUCH MORE

As we approach August, we are heading into peak canning season. Tomato canning season is here. We are very good on most items. We are very limited on pickles at this time but we do have a few. We ask that you call 724-246-7601 to place an order especially if you want it delivered to one of our roadside markets. If you come to the farm we usually have everything on hand but if you place your order, We will make sure it's on hand ready for you when you get here.

WEST MIFFLIN MARKET OPEN TODAY THRU SUNDAY!

Our market in West Mifflin will be back open today and will be open thru Sunday. It is located in the parking lot at Getgo. Look for the red and white tent. Hours are 10:30am-5:30pm Thursday and Friday, 10:30am-4:30pm Saturday and Sunday. Our plan is to have this market open Wednesday through Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday!

We will have our fresh picked white and bicolor sweet corn, tomatoes, peaches plus so much more including all of our canned items.

WHITE SWEET CORN, PEACHES, GHOST PEPPER PICKLES & UPDATES BELOW!

• WHITE CORN- We are picking our super sweet white corn. It is limited but we do have it at all markets. We have white and bicolor at all markets.

• PEACHES - We got a lot of different fruit in. All of the peaches are freestone. We have yellow peaches, white peaches, doughnut peaches, yellow nectarines, and white nectarines ( limited ). Peaches are scarce and they have been very expensive. So we do not have any in 1/2 bushels at this time.

• TOMATOES- all of the tomatoes that we have at the markets are ours grown on our farm. We currently do not have canning tomatoes, but we should have them in about a week or so. So get your canning jars ready.

• GHOST PEPPER PICKLES- We have ghost pepper pickles back in stock.

• BULK ITEMS- sweet corn, cabbage, hot peppers, green peppers, beets, zucchini, jalapeno. We are currently out of pickles. Tomatoes, potatoes and onions soon!

• DUDA'S FARM CANNED
PRODUCTS- we currently have 23 different canned products. All of our canned products are made with our veggies and our recipes. We are currently out of apple bourbon bbq sauce.

• WEST MIFFLIN MARKET- West Mifflin will open back up on Thursday and remain open through Sunday. We were trying to get it open tomorrow( Wednesday), but we were not able to staff it. We were very pleased with how well the market did in its first week. We are going to try to remain open Wednesday through Sunday and closed on Monday and Tuesday's.

ATTENTION WEST MIFFLIN CUSTOMERS! OPENING DAY IS TOMORROW JULY 15th!

West Mifflin is finally opening tomorrow July 15th. Hours will be 10:30am-5pm. We will be at the Getgo off Lebanon Road. Look for our red and white striped tent.
Our normal operating days as of now are going to be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday but we are opening tomorrow, Wednesday for our grand opening. Plan is to be closed on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. If we see that it's super busy, we might add more days. So ok West Mifflin, we have received a lot of feedback asking us to open a market back up and we did. Now it's time to come and support this market! 🌽 🍅 🍑 🫑 🌶️ 🥒 🍏 🫜 🍉 🧅 🌽

🌽🌽PICKING THE BEST SWEET CORN OF THE SEASON SO FAR🌽🌽

The sweet corn we are picking right now is the best. It seems to have had the right amount of rain and sun! Add in our western Pennsylvania soil and you have the some of the sweetest corn on earth. We do try to grow the absolute best varieties out there as well.
We have sweet corn currently at 6 locations.

• Chalk Hill at the Christmas Shop ( Friday and Saturday only)
• Connellsville At Perk and Play Cafe ( corn only)

West Mifflin will be opening next week sometime. Keep an eye out on Facebook and look for our tent going up soon.
