Friends and followers-

Our greenhouse is in the midst of the overhaul that I mentioned previously. The frame got pretty bent out of shape over the course of last winter. Therefore we are making it more structurally sound with an upgrade and new plastic. Still seems like we have a lot of work to do in the next month, but progress has been made and will continue.

In the meantime, we have plenty of tomato plants growing in our little greenhouse. They are becoming to big for their britches already lol! We will have available the following varieties, the first group which we have grown in the past. The second group are new varieties for us.
Brandywine pink
Honey delight
Sunchocola
Sunny boy

Shimmer
Bodacious
Delicious

Friends,

Although winter seems to have finally arrived, we are beginning to think about spring here. We have our seeds ordered and we are starting to plan for the upcoming season.

In the meantime, the greenhouse needs to be fixed up in the early spring. Hopefully this will be an uncomplicated task.

I am planning on being present at the farmers market this year. I have some grand ideas that I have been thinking about, but I'm not ready to share yet.

Stay tuned for more updates this spring!!

Friends & followers,

I just wanted to apologize for being absent all summer on this page and at the farmers market as well. Life is busy most of the time with a four and a half year old, gardening and other priorities.

We are still gardening and the tomato plants in the greenhouse are still putting on flowers! And it's mid September! At this rate, we may be passing out tomatoes for Halloween! Lol!

VEGGIES-
This season we are growing various types of tomatoes including Sunny Boy (my favorite this season), Sunchocola, Brandywine Pink, Big Rainbow, Honey Delight and a few Black Krim, Supersweet 100 and Yellow Pear.

In addition to tomatoes we have grown little Hansel eggplants for the second year in a row and cucumbers which have flourished, both in the greenhouse. We have a very healthy rosemary bush, some parsley and a little bit of basil. There are a handful of kale plants in the garden within the weeds.

FRUITS -
In the spring, my husband Matt and I added three dwarf apple trees behind the garden, including McIntosh (Mac), Jonathon and Honey Crisp varieties. We suspect that the Honey Crisp tree may not make it through the winter though.

We got two blueberry bushes that still need planted somewhere, probably in the garden. At least two-thirds of our garden is now strawberries!!! Strawberry season in mid June was very plentiful!

THE FUTURE -
Where do we go from here? Well we don't know yet. The greenhouse needs more repairs or overhauled for next season. Next year, I plan to be present at the farmers market and on this page with updates.

If you are in need/ want of any of the produce items listed above, please send me a message through this page. Thank you for reading my lengthy update!
