As the Presenting Sponsor of our Farmers Market, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York helps us in many ways run a solid event week-after-week. One of the biggest ways is their help covering the expense to staff our SNAP table under the Elmwood Village tent. If you stop by the Elmwood Village Association tent you will also find some fun, free goodies that they supply us throughout the season. Plus Highmark also provides the bistro tables and chairs that allow our market-goers to relax and enjoy their time at the Market. On top of all that, they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Thank you again!

We’re proud to continue our support of the Elmwood Village Farmers Market, a beloved Buffalo tradition.

Opening Saturday, May 9, the producer‑only market returns to Bidwell Parkway at Elmwood Avenue from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, with local vendors, live music and SNAP/Double Up Food Bucks accepted. The market runs every Saturday through Nov. 28, 2026.

Each year before the Elmwood Village Farmers Market officially begins all the growers and producers are invited to gather for a dinner. We bring a dish to pass, share laughs, stories and build our community together so we can bring the best weekly Farmers Market to those who attend. We are ready for the season to begin and look forward to seeing you all this Saturday, May 9th from 8am-1pm for opening day!
