Tomorrow (December 13th) will be our last day open for this harvest year. We have Winesap. We have golden delicious and Arkansas black in culs. Brown bags are five dollars. We have jams.

We have golden delicious, red delicious, jonathan, winesap, and Jonagold apples right now. We also have sorghum, honey, jellies, and sweet potatoes. Later this week we will start on Granny Smith apples.

Thank you everyone for your support, prayers, and condolences this year. We have sold out of apples (lost many to bad weather) but still have several boxes of sweet potatoes and jellies left. We are closing the store but can take orders for what we have left. Please message us if you are interested. Thanks again and hope to see you next year.

Emma Caroline Gerrity, age 84, of Hodgenville, passed away, Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home.

She was a homemaker and loved to play bingo and dance at the American Legion and Senior Citizen Center.

Emma was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Cheshire; her parents, John Parker and Francis Ann Harbson Hutchison; a granddaughter, Becky Brown; two brothers, John Parker and Robert Hutchison.

She is survived by a daughter, Glenda (Michael) Bennett of Mt. Sherman; four sons, Mickey (Debbie) Cheshire of Buffalo, Phillip Cheshire of Hodgenville, Alan (Benita) Cheshire of Magnolia and Terry (Sharon) Gibson of Hodgenville. 11grandchildren, Curtis (Angie) Bennett, Sarah (Matt) Rucker, Megan (BJ) Glass, Eric Cheshire, Whitney Cheshire, Butch (Katie) Brown, Kathleen (Richard) Frye, Sylvia (Bill) Pelc, Hannah (Kyle) Heibert, Cody (Casey) Cheshire and Ashley (Nick) Childress; 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 5, at Bennett-Bertram funeral Home in Hodgenville, Bro. DeWayne Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in New Hope.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
