we will BE OPEN June 27th 10 - 1 for 4th of July grilling meats! We also have limited amounts of NON-GMO CHICKEN that we raised as a test batch! Thighs, bone-in breast, drums, backs.

Side note we got wayyyyy too much plain ground pork back from a big batch of pigs. We are selling it $40 for 10lbs. Message or comment or email us if you're interested!

Anyone interested in us being open Saturday June 27th to pick up some 4th of July meats? We have sausages, burgers, chops, bacon, ground pork! The farm store might be messy but you all are used to that I think ;) :D

Other updates: we are now Birch Creek Farm Co.! The commercial kitchen is ALMOST FINISHED, and the hogs have been having great litters again!! none of our cows are pregnant, and we are thinking it is related to reasons why the pigs weren't (mycotoxins in feed we got in)...so that is next on the emergency list. Multiple hayfields are ready to be planted with Sorghum and oats, and the pastures have been growing great! We are SO THANKFUL for the rain! Lastly, the water project is about 85% complete!! Next big project to start: farm store expansion.

On a personal front, we have had a little bit of breathing room to spend time with our own kids and in our family garden. We are so thankful for everyone sticking with us through this switch up and summer projects. We think of you all the time!!

PS -- we took all of our barn cats to get spayed / neutered but somehow one still had surprise kittens in the pig pen! If anyone is looking for a cute little furry friend in a few weeks :) message us!

HERE IT IS!!!! Final price list for Saturday's market. No holds or pre-orders (we are swamped getting the freezer together as is). First come first serve starting at 10am through 2pm. While we really appreciate people who show up enthusiastically early, we will not be opening before 10 to be fair to everyone else this weekend. We will try our best to put out what we have and keep up with restocking. We will have fresh eggs as well, but they are regular priced from the neighboring farms.

Sausage flavors (variety of all in loose / fingerlinks / large links): apple fennel, chorizo, sweet italian, hot italian, sage, breakfast, fresh salt & pepper, kielbasa, maple, parmesan garlic, french onion, philly cheesesteak, rosemary garlic, hot buffalo, and more

35 lambs and counting
75 piglets and counting
36 pregnant cows
Two strips are plowed for new drought tolerant grasses in the hayfield
Manure is spread on the hayfields
Commercial kitchen is painted and the sink is going in!
New water system is still in the "ditch is dug out" phase
