☀️ It's a beautiful day for the Jefferson Street Farmers Market!

Thanks to the incredible support from our community, vendors, and shoppers, we're excited to announce that the market is now expanding into the 600 Block of Jefferson Street! 🎉

That means 4 blocks filled with local vendors, fresh produce, baked goods, handmade items, delicious food, live entertainment, and the community spirit that makes Downtown Burlington so special.

🎶 Tonight, enjoy live music by Ruby Orr and take a FREE Horse & Trolley Ride through Downtown!

👣 Be sure to walk the entire market from the 300 to 600 blocks. Every block offers something different, and you never know what hidden gem, tasty treat, or local maker you might discover!

🌦️ Despite the forecast, the community showed up!

While storm chances had us making a last-minute move indoors yesterday evening, the Jefferson Street Farmers Market was still full of friendly faces, local shopping, great conversations, and community spirit last night.

A huge thank you to The Burlington Steamboat Senior Center for welcoming us into their space and helping make sure the market could continue despite the forecast. Their generosity allowed vendors and visitors alike to enjoy a comfortable evening downtown.

We're also incredibly grateful to all of our vendors who adapted to the change and still came out to serve our community. Your flexibility, positivity, and dedication to supporting local are what make the market such a special part of summer in Burlington.

And to everyone who chose to stop by and support the market despite the weather: thank you! Seeing our community show up, shop local, and support one another is what makes every market night a success.

No matter the forecast, Burlington continues to show up for local. ❤️

The Jefferson Street Farmers Market is happening indoors tonight at the Burlington Steamboat Senior Center (501 Jefferson Street)!

Come support our amazing bakers, farmers, and food vendors while staying dry and comfortable.

🌧️☔ Rain, Rain, Go Away... Thursday is Jefferson St Farmers Market Day! ☔🌧️

We're officially asking Mother Nature to take a day off because we have important things to do on Jefferson Street this Thursday from 4:30–7 PM! 🌽🥕🍪🎶

And guess who's back? 👀

💙 The Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois will be returning with their GINORMOUS bubbles! We're talking giant, floating, magical bubbles that are guaranteed to delight kids (and let's be honest... adults too).

So cross your fingers, do your sunshine dances, and help us send the rain packing! 🌞

Come shop local produce, grab dinner, enjoy live music, visit your favorite vendors, and make some giant bubble memories in Downtown Burlington.

Because Thursdays on Jefferson Street are where the community comes together... and It's Happening! 🎉

Summer nights just hit different on Jefferson Street ☀️

The Jefferson Street Farmers Market brought another great crowd downtown last night, with families enjoying local shopping, delicious food, live music, and all the fun that comes with a summer evening in Burlington.

A big thank you to Community Health Centers of Southeast Iowa, our June sponsor, for joining us and promoting healthy living in our community. Their giant bubble stations were a hit with kids and families all evening long 🫧

We'd also like to thank the Burlington Fire Department for once again bringing out the fire truck and helping everyone beat the heat with a refreshing spray of water. It quickly became one of the most popular stops of the night, especially for the kids 🚒💦

And thank you to F&M Bank & Trust, Member FDIC, for supporting live music on Jefferson Street and helping create the welcoming atmosphere that makes market nights so special 🎶

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who continues to support local farmers, makers, small businesses, and our downtown community. Week after week, your enthusiasm and support are what make the Jefferson Street Farmers Market such a memorable part of summer in Burlington.
