Noble County's One Stop Shopping

Caldwell Food Center was founded in 1963 by Leander Crock when 3 other grocery stores were in our town. Now, in 2018 we are the sole locally owned store that remains. Dennis Crock, son of Leander, started in the business in 1983 and has developed the store into what it is today.

There is a full line bakery, deli, produce, and meat department.

In 1989 a Variety Store was added with crafts, fabric, giftware, and much more. In 1995, A Marathon Gas station was opened.

Finally, in 2005 customers stated they wanted a discount grocery store in the area so Denny build a Save-A-Lot to satisfy that customer base needs.
