Sweet and Eurich Farm Free Range Eggs We are proud to supply fresh, free range eggs to Adam's Mountain Cafe in Manitou Springs. We also raise alfalfa and beef cattle.

My family has been farming this branch of the Big Sandy Creek since the 1880s.

The house destroyed by a tornado in Elbert county is maybe 5-6 miles from our place, dodged that bullet and only got minor, marble-sized hail and, hallelujah, some blessed, blessed rain.

Huge, raging thunderstorms all around last night, but hardly a drop out here on the farm...mostly just wind blowing topsoil off the fields we opened up this spring hoping to get enough moisture to plant something. Still hoping that happens, but doesn't look so good at the moment. Really puts the 'ow' in drought.
