We are trying out some infused honey. The first one we made was an orange zest and vanilla infused honey. The orange zest is amazing in addition to the honey! Below is a recipe but we believe in making it our own. We didn't bake the orange zest and it is turning candied after several days. We also added a mango black tea bag in with the orange zest in a different one and its super tasty. There are several spiced orange honey margarita recipes that will be in order when this has aged for a couple of weeks. That is if there is any left over:)

Who are we?

Craig Hill Farm is a small family run business based on a love of God’s country and a desire to learn more about sustainable living. In 2014 we moved to Cambridge, NY with our children and began experimenting with various outdoor farming techniques.

One of our most productive adventures thus far began when we stumbled across a swarm of honey bees one day while mowing the lawn. Having been something we had been thinking of pursuing, we seized the moment and quickly collected our first hive in the fall of 2016. Since then we have expanded our apiary to 14 hives with a steady flow of honey.

While we enjoy the use of honey in place of processed sugars in our home, excess remains. Given the wide variation of foraging landscape where we live, our honey has a naturally unique flavor unlike any honey we have found elsewhere. We harvest small batches throughout the year to capture the distinct flavors of each season. We are confident that one taste of any season’s honey will leave you wanting to try try the rest.

In addition to our raw, unfiltered honey we also offer several other natural homemade bee related products. We look forward to sharing with you our love of all things bee.
