Even at the end of May, which is just the beginning of market season, it is getting more and more challenging to convey the bounty in our market. Bouquets of flowers from are just getting started. Fingers crossed for goat milk from this week. The herb and vegetable seedlings are still going strong. We have various meats available from and vendors featuring three different kinds of dairy (all soooooo delicious). We have beautiful baskets, baked goods, bread, bagels, blueberry wine from , cbd products from and so VERY much more. Did I mention the scrumptious shortbread varieties from and the maple products from and the honey offerings from ???? The list goes on and on. Next week we will tag some of our other talented vendors. Please follow and support them. Please join us tomorrow to help celebrate and partake in your local food system. Here are a few photos to remind you of what we have in store. They don’t tell the whole picture, so here is a quick list…Maple syrup, honey, water buffalo dairy, whole cows milk, chicken, pork, ground beef, amazing pastries and breads, mushrooms, cheeses, cbd products, granola, shortbread, seedlings of all sorts, flowers, native perennials, baby goats, sparkling blueberry wine, exquisite baskets, fruit preserves, and of course the kings and queens of the farmers market: Vegetables in all their glory! And so much more. And while we are together you may notice one of our farmers is missing. Sarah from Fineline Farm, in her capacity of EMT for Searsmont, was seriously injured while responding to the fire at Robbins Lumber Mill on May 15th. We miss her and our hearts go out to her and all those injured in the explosion. There are many ways to help. There is a link in our bio to a Go Fund Me for Sarah, and there are other fundraisers for individuals and affected groups. This will be an on-going request to support and rebuild, and any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

All of you know Sarah Tompkins. She wears the monarch butterfly apron at the Fineline Farm booth in Camden on Saturdays. Did you know she is also a paramedic and the chief of Searsmont Rescue? Last Friday, in that capacity, she was severely injured while responding to the fire at the Robbins Mill complex in Searsmont. Please help Sarah come back to us and wear her apron again. Here is a group of 20 candids from last week’s market to get you revved up. This week’s weather looks stellar. We are expanding onto the grass as more vendors join us. We have a little library and hang out spot for children (and their adults). Come learn about wild salmon from before they head off to catch it for you. Get in those pre-orders! I am thinking of all the delicious possibilities we have in store for you…the backbone of vibrant and delicious veggies, of course, but breads, shortbread cookies, baked goods, prepared food, yogurt, cheeses, goat meat, pork, chicken, beef, cow’s milk, honey products, cbd oil, mushrooms, salmon, bagels, seedlings, perennials, kimchi, and more! I had the most delicious ploye (buckwheat pancake-y crepe) with warm blueberry sauce and whipped cream from You want one!

Camden Farmer's Market is the place to be on Saturday mornings! We'll be here with smiling faces, rain or shine, every Saturday from 9-12.
