"Good food doesn't have to be complicated.

We'll help make dinner easy." – Rodney

Hi Seafood Lover,

If you're like most families, the hardest part of the day is figuring out what's for dinner.

One of the easiest ways to mix things up is to add seafood to the menu a couple of nights each week. Not only is fish a lighter alternative to red meat, but it's also one of the quickest meals you can make. Most fresh fish is ready in 10 to 15 minutes, whether you bake it, grill it, pan-sear it, or throw it in the air fryer.

You don't have to be a chef, either. A little butter or olive oil, your favorite seasoning, and maybe a squeeze of fresh lemon are often all you need for a great meal.

To make things even easier, we carry a wide selection of premium marinades, finishing sauces, specialty spice blends, and handcrafted rubs that pair perfectly with seafood. Whether you like bold Cajun flavors, garlic herb, citrus, or something with a little heat, we've got plenty of options to help you put together a restaurant-quality meal at home.

At Off The Hook Seafood and Market, we're always happy to help you choose the right fish, recommend a marinade or seasoning, and share a few simple cooking tips. We want you to leave the market with everything you need to make an incredible meal—without spending hours in the kitchen.

🐟 Rodney's Pick of the Week: Fresh Halibut

If you've never tried halibut, this is the week to do it. It's a mild, flaky fish with a firm texture that works beautifully with a crunchy topping.

Macadamia Crusted Halibut

Ingredients

2 Halibut fillets
¾ cup macadamia nuts, finely chopped
½ cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp lemon zest
Fresh Chopped Flatleaf Parsley
Salt and pepper
Lemon wedges for serving

Directions

Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Mix the chopped macadamia nuts, panko, melted butter, lemon zest, a pinch of salt, and pepper.
Stir together the Dijon mustard and mayonnaise, then spread a thin layer over the top of each halibut fillet.
Press the macadamia mixture onto the fish to create an even crust.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden brown.
Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon and parsley, and serve with roasted asparagus, green beans, or wild rice - Check out our selection of rice and grits from Marsh Hen Mill in Edisto.

Need the perfect seasoning? We can help with that too! Stop in and we'll point you toward one of our favorite spice blends or sauces to complement this recipe.

Stop by this week and see what's fresh. We'd love to help you put something delicious on the table.

See you soon,

Rodney
