Our May Newsletter:
We are in the beautiful spring season again. I love the smell of clean crisp spring air in the country! May we praise the Lord for the many blessings this season brings, the delicious garden goodies, the pretty flowers, showers and sunshine, the magnificent sunsets and sunrises. It truly is a wonderful time of year!
The asparagus and rhubarb are in full swing, the peas are about six inches high and doing well, if the bunnies leave them alone! The beans are poking their heads through the ground, and the animals have plenty of grass and can lounge in it to soak up the sunshine.
We are experiencing a strong demand for real nutrient dense food. More and more folks are grinding their own fresh flour, which is a big step in the right direction. We've noticed an increasing demand for wheat berries in 25lb and 50lb bags. There is an ever increasing demand for food that is not loaded with fillers, synthetics and cheap substitutes.
Highlights for May:
* Our own fresh baked rhubarb pies
* Our homemade meadow tea is back again
* Fresh local n organic asparagus and rhubarb
* Grillers special on select steaks, sausages and burgers
* Chemical free flower bouquets, planters and hanging pots for decorating
WE WILL BE CLOSED ON THURSDAY MAY 14
IN OBSERVATION OF ASCENSION DAY
The 14th of May this year marks forty days after Easter, when Christ ascended to heaven and now sits on the right hand of the Father and is interceding for us all till the end of time!
