Fresh basil (sweet and Thai) and Nasturtium. Pair with fresh sliced tomatoes, sliced goat cheese (from Side Hill Acres), and balsamic vinegar. YUM! And pretty.

Randy's Super Simple Sauce (aka S3)

This pasta sauce is really tasty and has only three ingredients: tomatoes, butter, and garlic. Couldn’t be simpler to make and doesn’t take much time. Most of it is done in the time it takes to heat the pasta water and cook the pasta.

Ingredients:
Butter: 5 tablespoons
Garlic: 2 or 3 cloves (at least 1 ounce) minced
Tomatoes: 2 pounds fresh, cored and coarsely chopped (you can peel and seed if you like)

Melt the butter in a large skillet. When the butter is good and hot add the garlic and sauté a minute or so. Add the tomatoes and simmer, stirring frequently until the desired thickness is reached.
Serve over pasta with grated cheese (and maybe crushed red pepper for a little kick).
Serves two.
