It's 5 o'clock somewhere! Have you tried our lavender honey? 💜🍯 How about a lavender bees knees cocktail?

Ingredients 🛒
1 cup water
4-5 sprigs of lavender
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup Busy Bees NJ honey
1 oz Lavender Honey Simple Syrup (see instructions below)
1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 oz gin

Instructions 📝

For the Lavender Simple Syrup ~
Bring sugar, honey and water to a boil, take off of heat, and add lavender sprigs.
Let sit for 15 minutes, strain out sprigs.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks.

For the Cocktail ~
Add the ingredients to a shaker.
Fill shaker with ice.
Shake and strain into a cocktail coupe.
Garnish with a sprig of Lavender.

What's on for CHEWSday, honey?

Ingredients 🛒
4 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch
cubes
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for
drizzling potatoes after cooked
1/4 cup BusyBeesNJ honey
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions 📝
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Lay the sweet potatoes out in a single layer on a roasting tray. Drizzle the oil, honey, cinnamon, salt and pepper over the potatoes. Roast for 25 to 30 minutes in oven or until tender.
- Take sweet potatoes out of the oven and transfer them to a serving platter. Drizzle with more extra-virgin olive oil.
