🚿 Another big step forward at the HSH Farms RV Park wash house!

The bathrooms are coming together beautifully with crisp white walls, marble-look panels, rich wood ceilings, and navy-blue trim. We’ve also installed the kitchenette and air conditioner, bringing us even closer to having the wash house ready for our future campers!

There’s still a little work left to do, but we’re making progress every day. 💙

🍓 HSH FARMS | STRAWBERRY PREP IS UNDERWAY! 🍓

It’s getting real around here! The equipment is coming out, the plastic mulch is loaded, and the Toro Aqua-Traxx drip tape is ready to roll. 🚜💦

We’re getting the field prepped for our next strawberry crop, and there’s a whole lot of work that happens before the first strawberry plant ever touches the dirt.

This year’s setup:
🍓 45 beds × 180 ft
🌱 Raised beds with black plastic mulch
💧 Drip irrigation under the plastic
🚜 About 8,100 linear feet of strawberry beds

Now comes the fun part: shaping beds, laying plastic and drip tape, getting everything lined up, and preparing for planting day.

A pallet of plastic might not look very exciting to most folks… but around here, it looks a whole lot like next spring’s strawberries! 🍓☀️

🐝 HSH Farms made the news! 📺

We had a special visitor at the farm this evening! KOAM News Now reporter Nelly Lopez came out to spend some time with us and our honeybees. 🐝🍯🎥

We talked about what it takes to keep our hives healthy through the summer heat and dry weather, along with the important role our bees play in pollinating the crops we grow here at HSH Farms.

The girls were buzzing, the smoker was rolling, and thankfully everybody behaved for the camera! 😂🐝

A huge thank you to Nelly Lopez and KOAM News Now for taking the time to visit the farm and help share our story with the Four States. We really enjoyed having you out!

🎣 Pond nights at HSH Farms!

Sometimes you’ve just gotta put the work down, grab the fishing poles, and head to the pond. Tonight we did exactly that!

The crappie were biting, the bluegill joined the party, and Little Man was right there getting in on the action. ❤️ Nothing fancy, just a beautiful evening, a few fish, and some good memories being made right here on the farm.

Days like this are exactly why we love this place. 🌾🎣

🏕️ HSH Farms RV Park Wash House Update! 🛠️

We’re getting closer and closer to the finish line!

The bathrooms are really coming together, and we’re loving how the white walls, navy blue trim, gray flooring, marble-look shower walls, and warm stained wood ceilings all came together. 😍

The main room is moving right along too. We’ve been working on the navy blue window and door trim, lighting, ceiling fans, and all those little finishing details that seem to take forever!

There’s still work to do, but every day it looks a little less like a construction zone and a little more like the HSH Farms RV Park Wash House we envisioned. 🔨💙

One board, one piece of trim, and about 47 trips to the hardware store at a time. 😂

We can’t wait to get everything finished and welcome campers to the farm! 🏕️🌿
