Both pickleball nets at the Park have been replaced for your enjoyment. The nets are constructed of relatively light guage steel.

While I was replacing one net, I observed a player on the other court step over and push down on the net because his legs were not long enough to step over the net without pushing it down. I have also observed players hurdling over the net. These actions cause damage to the nets and break the light guage metal of the frames for the net.

Please remind your fellow players to walk around the net to the other side when exchanging sides of the court. Please refrain from stepping over or jumping the nets so that they last longer for all players to enjoy.

Tonight the Ash Carleton Park Commission dedicated the Larry Buckingham Holiday Tree at the park. Larry, who was the long time Village President, supported the Park Commission and the park for many years. A large turnout of Larry's family and friends attended and participated in the dedication. We especially wanted to recognize Larry's widow Lenora Yoas Buckingham for her long time support of the park and village as well. Thanks to all members of the Buckingham family.

Spring has sprung at Ash Carleton Park! Thanks to Jeannie Harvell for sprucing up the monument area at the Park Entrance! Spring cleanup activities are continuing getting the park beautified for the summer season.

Earlier this year, we were fortunate enough to have 2 very generous vendors provide all of the materials and labor required to paint all structures and roofs at the park. The park looks so much better, thanks to this effort.

A huge thank you to Strokes of Perfection Painting and Design LLC for providing all of the labor to paint the entire park. Brianna Berge, owner of the company also assisted the park commission with obtaining a donation of all of the paint and materials required to complete the task, from the Sherwin Williams company.

Today, the Ash Carleton Park Commission planted a "holiday tree" in remembrance of long time Village President Larry Buckingham.

The tree and planting services were generously donated by Chuck Collert and Jamie Collert of World Class Landscaping.

A dedication of the tree is being planned in the near future. An announcement will be made on the Park page as soon as dedication details are worked out. The public will be welcome to attend the dedication.
