We'd like to take a moment to introduce ourselves and share a little about Perry County Bee Company!
🐝 Meet Your Local Beekeepers!
Hi friends! We're Joe and Carolyn — a husband-and-wife team with a passion for honeybees and the sweet magic they bring to the world.
We started Perry County Bee Company with one mission: to educate our community about the importance of honeybees and help protect them from the many challenges they face today. Through our products, educational events, and community outreach, we're working to make a positive impact right here in Central Pennsylvania.
🐝 Meet Joe — Our Beekeeper
Joe is the heart of our apiary. He manages hive health, monitors for pests and diseases, cares for our colonies, harvests honey, creates many of our honey products, and handles everything related to beeswax. His dedication keeps our bees thriving and producing the freshest honey possible. Today, Joe manages five bee yards and nearly 50 hives—with more to come! When he's not tending bees, he works full-time as a bridge engineer. Beekeeping is his way to relax and connect with nature.
🐝 Meet Carolyn — Community Outreach & Marketing
Carolyn handles marketing, social media, product labeling, customer relations, and community partnerships. She enjoys connecting with local organizations, nonprofits, schools, and community groups to expand beekeeping education and help others learn how they can support pollinators. Carolyn has also been a full-time REALTOR® for the past 20 years. Together, Joe and Carolyn own and operate a short-term rental located on their small Perry County farm.

We proudly offer a growing selection of honeybee products, including:
• Local raw honey, infused honey, and hot honey
• Plain and flavored creamed honey
• Beeswax and beeswax candles (scented and unscented)
• Beeswax lip balms and lotion bars
• Honey sticks, jams, apple butter, and other honey-inspired treats
We are also proud to carry handcrafted goat milk soaps from Stony Ridge Soap Company!
