Tiny greens. Surprisingly big personalities.

Growth & Greens Urban Farm grows more than 20 varieties of microgreens on their urban farm in Reno—from crisp pea shoots and sunflower to broccoli, radish, basil, cilantro, amaranth, and plenty more.

Then there are their signature mixes: ready to eat, easy to toss onto just about anything, and very good at making an ordinary plate look like you planned ahead.

Fresh, vibrant, and grown with plenty of care.

A cup of coffee in one hand. Fresh produce in the other. Live music floating through the market while you wander a little longer than you planned.

Some products really do smell like the place they came from.

Terroir Herbals turns herbs grown on their own permaculture farm and gathered throughout the High Sierra into small-batch apothecary goods rooted in the land around us.

The herbs are grown or ethically wildcrafted, then hand harvested, hand processed, and carefully made into remedies that follow the season rather than fight it.

There’s a lot of Nevada in every bottle—and a whole lot of care behind it.

There’s a lot happening out at Eagle Valley Livestock

Cattle on grass. Pigs on pasture. And, depending on the season, goats joining the lineup too.

This Carson City family ranch raises grass-fed and finished beef, pasture-raised pork, and seasonal goat with a focus on regenerative ranching and thoughtful care for the land and animals.

And one of our favorite parts? You can buy a cut of meat and talk to the people who actually raised it.

Stop by Eagle Valley Livestock at Carson Farmers Market, see what cuts they brought this week, and ask them about the ranch. Those conversations are part of what market Saturdays are all about.
