When we took over the former BRK Meats facility, we knew changing the name on the building wouldn’t be enough.

The facility needed work. A lot of it.

Over the past several weeks, we’ve been investing in the building, repairing and replacing equipment, improving refrigeration and HVAC, cleaning up the facility, improving working conditions for our employees, and putting systems in place to raise the standard of the entire operation.

And we’re not finished.

Our goal isn’t to cover up the past. It’s to build something better for the future, for our employees, our customers, local ranchers and producers, and the communities we serve.

ABP is being built around five divisions:

Harvest.
Processing.
Manufacturing.
Distribution.
Retail.

We’re building a company capable of taking locally raised livestock from the producer all the way to the grocery store, restaurant, or family’s table.

There’s still a lot of work ahead of us, but we’re proud of how far this facility has already come.

This isn’t just a new name on an old building.

This is American Beef Producers.

For far too long, this facility operated without heating and air conditioning but that changes now.

These new units represent more than an upgrade. They represent our commitment to rebuilding this facility the right way and creating a better environment for our employees and every member of the community who comes through our doors to shop with us.

There is a lot of work ahead, but change is already underway at ABP.
