Just a nice start to pumpkin season at yesterdays auction. Competition was stiff on pumpkins and mums. Even the other produce was selling well. Sometimes things can run cheap directly after Labor Day but it was another good auction. More on Friday. We would expect a decent increase in pumpkin supply for the next few weeks.

It was a very good day at the auction. A large thank-you to all who came out. We will be back in the morning for our scheduled auction on Tuesday September 8th at 11 a.m. Expecting more pumpkins, mums and produce.

Here you are!! Lots of beautiful items again for our annual Labor Day Auction on Monday September 7, 2026. The auction starts at 8:30 a.m. and we will have multiple auctioneers going at once so bring a bidding partner and let the fun begin! Parking is available out back, along the road, and in a nearby pasture if necessary. Pay attention to the signs posted.
Approximate schedule: small items inside-8:30, outside produce and flowers-8:45, large furniture and quilts- 10:30, yard art and lawn furniture, 12:00 or directly after outside rings finish. See you Monday!!

Who ordered this heat? Or did September get a fever? It's hot anyway. Produce is starting to dwindle down now and pumpkins and mums are picking up. Lots of watermelon yet and a decent supply of tomatoes. Otherwise a nice mixture. Some peppers, potatoes, green beans, beets, onions, raspberries, sweet potatoes, corn, and more. Big post coming tomorrow evening of the items and details for Monday's Labor Day Auction on September 7, 2026. We will have a regular scheduled auction on Tuesday the 8th as well.

Tuesday September 1, 2026.
It's September but sure feels like July! This rain and heat keeps bringing more produce in. A bit of a watermelon overload right now. Pickles are about done but we're still getting some decent beans in. A small trickle of pumpkins now, expecting a lot more shortly! Flowers are also picking up. More on Friday! Stay tuned Saturday for pictures and info on our Labor Day Auction.

Mums the word. We're just getting started with the fall season! It's hard to believe it's that time of year. Just a few bins of pumpkins at yesterday's auction and definitely more mums. The colors are just beginning to show and they are going to be beautiful! There is also plenty of produce available yet. Especially melons! They've been a little on the cheap side lately. Labor Day Auction September 7! Stay tuned!

Tuesday August 25, 2026.

What's a good word? It's been a fairly stable year so far. A lot better than last year. The weather has also been pretty good. Some places are getting drought but not much around the Cashton area. Lots of melons again! Tomatoes are doing well also. Plus all the rest. A great variety! Come and get it while we have it.

We are also gearing up for our annual Labor Day Auction on September 7. Going to be lots of nice furniture, quilts and crafts plus pumpkins, flowers, and produce.

Friday, August 21, 2026.

The auction was filled once again with a great variety of top-notch produce. Prices have been holding fairly steady the last few weeks. As it is with auctions, there is almost always some things that are cheap and some things that go high. The watermelon are picking up good which is great. Mums and grasses as well. Some pumpkins but not much yet. Won't be long! See ya Tuesday!!

Tuesday August 18, 2026.

We had our first bins of local watermelon today. Mostly large seeded. Should be more of the small seedless coming soon. Otherwise its the usual. Lots of tomatoes available, cantaloupe as well. A bit of green and yellow beans again. Plus a wide variety of garden veggies. We also are getting more mums and grasses in. Should see a steady increase of them. Only a few weeks until we'll be in the thick of the fall season.

Friday August 14, 2026.

Fresh vegetable season is reaching its peak! It's been a pretty decent summer so far. We've had plenty of great quality produce for most of the summer. We currently have an abundance of tomatoes, cantaloupe, sweet corn, peppers, some pickles and there is a wide variety of other produce as well. Potatoes, beans, beets, dill, carrots, onions, etc. Watermelon are just starting. Hoping to see some bins of them soon. A few flowers again and a couple pie pumpkins. Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 a.m.
