Posting this from Casper PD.
As a downtown business owner, I have seen a lot of issues with kids, and adults, riding electric bikes, scooters and more all over in the street, and on the sidewalks.

I had one rider (est 18-21 yrs) riding down the sidewalk faster than the traffic on the street. If I hadn't seen him when I did, I would have been seriously injured. Trying to move quickly, I did lose my balance. By the time I righted myself, he was long gone!!

I have had many riders who find it funny to ride down the sidewalk at high speeds and hit all of the business signs that hang down from awnings!

That being said, I'm fairly certain that many of these writers have no idea what the laws actually are .I'm sharing this so that maybe people will share it with anyone they know who rides these electric modes of transportation.

I do have to say, that I have also seen some who have been very respectful in the way they ride these.
