🐾 Serendipity Farms Sanctuary Update 🐾

We’ve been working hard to get our sanctuary room together! It’s been a slow process, but little by little, it’s finally starting to take shape. ❤️

Right now, we’re looking for donations of a few smaller items—especially chews and treats for our guinea pigs, rabbits, and chinchillas.

Something many people don’t realize is that rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas have teeth that continuously grow. Having safe things to chew is incredibly important to help naturally wear their teeth down and keep them healthy.

We would love your help filling our treat and chew containers for the animals! 🐰🐹

Meet Georgie ❤️

Georgie was one of our very first rescues here at Serendipity Farms, and at almost 8 years old, she is now our oldest guinea pig.

When Georgie came to us, her little feet were in rough shape, and we were told she couldn’t live with other guinea pigs because she was “mean.”

Well… Georgie apparently didn’t get that memo. 😂

Today, she happily lives with five other guinea pigs and is absolutely living her best life. At her age, every day with this sweet girl feels like a gift.

Stories like Georgie’s are exactly why we do what we do. Sometimes they just need a second chance, a little patience, and a place where they can finally feel safe. ❤️

Second chances start here. 🐾

🐾 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🐾

Serendipity Farms was incredibly blessed to receive a HUGE donation of animal supplies from a local rescue! ❤️

Now comes the big job—we need help sorting, organizing, and properly storing everything. Because of the amount donated, this will be a large project, and we could definitely use some extra hands!

You want to talk about prayer and faith? ❤️

I’ve been so worried about what happens after our final market of the year, when that extra income stops until next year. I keep asking myself, How are we going to keep this going? And like always, I pray.

And like always, God provides.

What we received was nothing short of a blessing. Because of the multiple trips and having absolutely zero light by the time we finished, we basically had to pack everything away as we unloaded it. We still have to go through everything to truly see what all we received.

I do know the only things we did not receive were chinchilla and ferret food. Some of our animals will be covered longer than others, but this donation will absolutely help get us through for a good while.

A simple “thank you” doesn’t even come close to expressing how grateful I am. This took a huge weight off my shoulders and gave our rescue some much-needed breathing room.

I am extremely humbled, extremely grateful, and after all that lifting and unloading—extremely sore. 😂❤️

But once again, when I was wondering how we were going to make it work, God reminded me:

Keep the faith. He always comes through. 🙏❤️
