An other all star we are featuring are Sunchokes locally grown in Pisgah Forest.
Other new items we have are Sugarbaby watermelons, Purple Cauliflower, Tri-color Banana Peppers, baskets of Vine Tomatoes, European Cucumbers, Pineapples, Kiwis, Pears, Horseradish Root, Red Butter Lettuce, and herbs including Tarragon, Basil, Chives, Dill, Fresh Bay Leaves, Cilantro, Italian Parsley and Thai Basil!
Don't know what to pair with our fish? Try this Beet Salad:
1 Roasted Golden Beet
1 Roasted Red Beet
(wrap in parchment paper or tin foil and cook at 350 F until tender)
Spring Mix
Goat Cheese (or Feta Cheese)
Drizzle of Olive Oil
Drizzle of Balsamic Glaze
Sprinkle with Walnuts (optional)
This is the dish that finally pushed me to appreciate beets. The mixture of Golden and Red Beets mellow the earthy flavor of Red Beets by themselves. Chef Marc (a dear friend and mentor) made this at his local Brevard restaurant years ago. It's a cherished one, I hope y'all enjoy!
