Modoc Certified Farmers Markets are a project of Modoc Harvest, a local food initiative in Northern California. The Surprise Valley Saturday Market and the Alturas Farmers Market proudly provide a place for local consumers and producers to come together and share their knowledge, passions, and questions while supporting the local economy.

El sábado pasado estuvimos en Cedarville y fue un día muy bonito compartiendo con la comunidad. Gracias a todas las personas que nos acompañaron, visitaron a nuestros vendedores y apoyaron el Farmers Market. Queremos informar que este sábado 29 de agosto no habrá Farmers Market, ya que se realizará la Feria en Cedarville. Pero los esperamos nuevamente el sábado 5 de septiembre en Alturas, en Veterans Park, con muchos productos frescos, locales y hechos con cariño. También invitamos a todas las personas que tengan beneficios de Senior y WIC a acercarse para recibir información y conocer cómo pueden usar sus beneficios para comprar productos frescos en el Farmers Market. Last Saturday we were in Cedarville and it was a beautiful day sharing with the community. Thank you to everyone who came out, visited our vendors, and supported the Farmers Market. We want to let everyone know that there will be no Farmers Market this Saturday, August 29th, because the fair will be taking place in Cedarville. But we look forward to seeing you again on Saturday, September 5th in Alturas at Veterans Park, with lots of fresh, local, and handmade products. We also invite everyone with Senior and WIC benefits to stop by for more information, and learn how they can use their benefits to purchase fresh products at the Farmers Market.
