We're a family-owned business in Centerpoint, Indiana, and we're excited to share our farm-fresh products and handmade crafts with everyone! Our small farm on the outskirts of Centerpoint is home to goats, chickens, and our newest members, bees. We'll be selling a variety of items such as seeds, herbs, potted plants, vanilla, honey, earrings, and more.

Hi everyone!!! Although we've quiet the farm has not! Summer tends to be more worky around here! Wanted to update with this beautiful picture of some of our first "olive and chocolate" eggs...with a regular brown to compare! These are so beautiful and I'm looking forward to the new girls 🐔 producing more in the coming months! If you need eggs or duck eggs let us know. $4 a dozen

We did it! On day 1, I was doubtful that we would make it this far with her. But she surprised all of with her determination to conquer this. After countless bandage changes, medicated baths, antibiotics, and on call maid service; she has been released from the medical ward as of today!

Unfortunately I've grown accustomed to her presence in the house and the 1000's of ways she mad us laugh during her stay in the house. But we all know she is happiest with her flock and family.

You leave the front door open one time, and the kids try to come back inside. I was making breakfast after chores when I heard this chirping. I originally dismissed it thinking it was coming from outside; I had the window's and door open for fresh cooler air. As I was sitting down to eat, I swore that it was in the house. I finally gave into my irrational thoughts of a bird being in the house and began looking for it. Sure enough, there was chick from our last batch sitting inside our living room window.

One week later

My apologies for the weekend delay on updates. It was filled with beautiful bright and chilly days. Perfect for us to finish a couple farm projects and not melt. Back to Ms. Quacken... I'm officially adding "Can give oral medication to a duck unassisted" to my resume. Sadly, I wish I was joking. The healing of her foot and leg is coming along amazingly. She has done a fantastic job on healing and resting. Unfortunately she has lost her "silly goose" attitude with the oral medications. Now she is a "suspicious duck" any time we offer her treats (fresh fruit in water) or offering her extra attention. Regardless, I'm proud of us for keeping this duck alive and mobile. Even if Ms. Quacken gives me the side eye as I pass.

This weekend marked our continued participation in the Owen County Farmers market, aligning with our objective of attending every weekend. We derive great satisfaction from engaging with new customers and presenting our homemade vanilla and lemon extracts, with new flavors forthcoming. Furthermore, our product selection encompasses magnets, earrings, and wristbands. We eagerly anticipate interacting with fellow vendors and shoppers. We look forward to seeing you next Saturday in Spencer.

Day 5

🚑 🩹 🦆 🩹 🚑

Ms. Quacken has definitely decided she enjoys her outside time more than her tiny "rest" tote. Yesterday, she was far more talkative than normal. After a couple of hours, Tobias captured a fellow duck for Ms. Quacken to keep her content and quiet. I expanded her outdoor exercise pen and added a small pool to let them "duck." We all agreed that injectable antibiotics were not desirable for this situation. After a couple of laughs from the other side of the phone, we were able to start Ms. Quacken on oral antibiotics. I have medicated and treated many animals over the years, but giving a duck an oral antibiotic is at the top of my least desirable treatment plans.

Day 4

We released the Quaken yesterday for a little sunshine and honestly mess control. She is becoming more confident using her leg; but for short periods of time. The thing that humored me was her change in personality from indoor to outdoors. Inside she is vocal, affectionate, and enjoys our company. But once outdoors... pure feral. I had to smile at her transformation in behavior. But once she realizes that we had fruit in her water, instant best friends again.
