Calling all seniors, are you 60 years of age or older and a resident of Centerburg or have a Centerburg address? If so, you are eligible for $6 in Market Moolah at the Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market. This evening we have (10) extra moolah to give out to our first 30 shoppers who visit the informational table. Moolah can be spent on any market product. This incentive is graciously provided by local businesses and individuals seeking to support seniors amidst the rising economy. We extend our gratitude to these community supporters. We ask that you might patronize their business and thank them for their support.

Our Market Moolah program has been a huge success as we distribute $6.00 worth of Moolah for the first 20 shoppers aged 60+ at each market. The moolah can be spent on any product at the market. This program is sponsored by local businesses/individuals through their generous donations. Our latest sponsor is the The Rusty Redhead located at 24 E Main Street in Centerburg. This local antique store has a great selection of vendors featuring items that you will enjoy discovering. Stop by tomorrow as they are hosting their 2nd year anniversary sale. Another amazing week for the Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market as last evening had a record crowd of 170 attendees! The lines began to form at 4:15 for the senior tokens and market Moolah and in less than 30 minutes they were all distributed. We can’t thank the local businesses and individuals enough who contribute to the Market Moohlah as well as the senior tokens distributed through the Knox County Task Force for Older Adults. It’s a win-win for both our seniors 60+ and our vendors who make the sale! Shout out to Build a Brew BBQ and Sunrise Diner for being our business sponsor and congratulations to the market shopper who won their prize drawing for a $25 gift card.

With four weeks left in the market, let’s continue to support these local vendors who have truly supported our market this year! If you have never attended, our markets are held every Thursday evening 4:30-7:00 pm at Bell Park in Centerburg. Our vendors include,
