The Grand Opening Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market for the 2026 season is one week away, taking place on June 4 from 4:30-7:00 pm at Bell Park in Centerburg. As we continue to showcase our vendor lineup, we are pleased to welcome Stillwater Market, a local, family-run homestead market offering sourdough bread, handcrafted candles, locally roasted coffee, and seasonal produce. Visitors are encouraged to explore all vendors, including those joining us for the final seven weeks of the season such as Stillwater Market.

Our Market Moolah and Senior Tokens initiatives will be available at each market, supporting senior residents of Centerburg and Knox County, made possible through the Senior Levy of the Knox County Task Force for Older Adults and contributions from local businesses and individuals to include,

Our friends from the Oldtime Farming Festival are seeking applications from skilled artisans interested in participating as vendors at the 2026 Festival, scheduled to take place the third weekend of September in Centerburg. Those interested can submit their applications via the following link: https://oldtimefarmingfestival.com/documents/crafter-form/. We are excited to announce the introduction of our 'guest option' at the Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market this season, a feature also offered by other local markets. The 'guest' option allows individuals or businesses to feature their goods at one of our markets. Thursday, June 4, marks the GGrand Opening Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market where we welcome new and returning vendors. Our guest vendors will include Rodney and LLori Houck lifelong residents of Centerburg, with Lori currently an employee of the Centerburg Local School District with 30 years of service and both the Houck’s being weekly volunteers at the Knox County Animal Shelter. The Houcks operate a small farm featuring Tunis cross sheep, chickens, and a steer, alongside several rescue dogs and cats. This year, they processed all 130 pounds of their wool into wool garden pellets, a natural fertilizer alternative. These wool pellets gradually release nitrogen into the soil, are biodegradable, absorb water to maintain soil moisture and prevent compaction, and serve as a natural deterrent to slugs and snails. Be sure to look for the Houck’s as they share this new product! The market is held consecutively on Thursday evenings from 4:30-7:00 pm, June 4-September 3 at Bell Park, the corner of E Main and N Clayton Streets.

We are two weeks away from our Grand Opening Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market, scheduled on June 4 from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Bell Park in Centerburg. This year's vendor lineup is new and exciting, featuring an array of local produce and baked goods. We have introduced various items, including flowers, beef, cookies, produce, breads, etc., but what about pies? If you are like me, there is nothing better than a fresh fruit or cream-filled pie. We are excited to welcome returning vendor Red Fern Gifts and Essentials back to our Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market. Owner Renee has extensive experience in the food industry, having operated a Diner in Bladensburg for many years. Her menu will include pies, cookies, and cakes. Come see our awesome vendors at the Grand Opening Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market on Thursday, June 5 from 4:30-7:00 pm at Bell Park in Centerburg.

We are three weeks away from our Grand Opening Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market, scheduled on June 4 from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Bell Park in Centerburg. This year's vendor lineup is new and exciting, featuring an array of local produce and baked goods. As we continue to highlight our vendors, we would like to introduce Nora Lane Bakery. Specializing in rustic sourdough loaves and small-batch sweets, Nora Lane Bakery is owned by Maggie, who named the business after her great-grandmother Nora as a tribute to her family's heritage and commitment to slow living and handmade food. Each baked good is carefully crafted to be shared with others. Maggie's offerings in addition to her baked goods will include seasonal produce, fresh flowers, and coffee.

Are you getting excited for our Grand Opening Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market in Centerburg? We are just a few weeks before the opening on June 4 from 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm as we continue to introduce our vendors to you. We are excited for the return of Fruitful Harvest Produce, owner Beth Ruth and her son, are participating in the Market as part of her son’s FFA project, to promote awareness of growing local produce to serve a community needs. They had the most amazing display of produce last year and we are excited for their return!

Please follow our page to stay up-to-date on all the events planned at each market. We hope you will visit Centerburg and take advantage of all our small businesses, which will be staying open to serve you. Be sure to stop at the Centerburg Public Library and enjoy a Mushroom Painting activity at our opening day on June 4.
