We have a strict no second chances culling program. We will not keep aggressive cows, sick cows, non producing cows, etc.

This has been hard for some people to understand. But this program creates a herd that takes care of itself and mimics nature. It also takes a lot of stress off of us.

We do not baby our cows whatsoever. If they need medical attention we do what we can and then they go to the butcher as soon as possible.

We've never seen it so dry. Our fields that haven't been watered are already showing signs of stress, that never happens in April.

We need rain desperately and pray fervently for a miracle. We are grateful we started on the regenerative agriculture years ago so we are somewhat prepared for these hard times.

Anyone want jerky? I wish we could just make it and sell it, but it's technically illegal. So until we get to that point we are playing around with recipes, cuts, and seeing what we like. We love jerky and are excited to provide it for our family cheaper and healthier.
